Printing plate preparation

Our printing house uses Kodak equipment for the primary printing process. Printing plates are digitally made using Kodak Magnus VLF CTP, which has a maximum resolution of 2400 dpi, maximum speed being 16 A0 format plates per hour or 20 B2 format plates per hour.

Our whole workflow is based on Kodak Prinergy software.

Print ready file formats

We usualy work with print ready PDF files that meet PDF/X-1a and PDF/X-3 standards. Our current software allows us to work with 1.4 and higher versions of PDF files that have transparencies, without flattening them.

Images that are in the RGB format will be automatically converted to CMYK using ISO_Coated_v2_300_eci.icc color profile.

Production of Hardproofs

We produce Hardproofs according to ISO 12647-2 offset press standard and ensure their high quality. Hardproofs are printed using Kodak KPS software and Epson 9800 wide format high quality inkjet printer.
